*These prices are inclusive of all costs, excluding the Heavy Vehicle Written Test. You will need to go into a TMR to complete this before commencing your lessons.
HR TRUCK LICENCE
HR - Heavy Rigid (Truck) Licence
​A HR (Heavy Rigid) licence allows you to operate trucks and buses (including prime movers and mobile cranes) over 8 tonnes GVM with three or more axles, as well as articulated buses (those with a flexible joint in the middle). You may also tow a trailer up to 9 tonnes GVM.

Who can apply?
To be eligible for an HR licence, you must have held a car (C class) licence for at least 2 years (Green P plates or full licence). Additionally, you’ll need to pass the Heavy Vehicle written theory test with Queensland Transport, which must be completed before beginning your lessons.
